What to Expect

Checking In – When you arrive at the event you will be asked to check in giving your name, school, and how you heard about the event. You will also be asked to show your school ID. No appointment or pre-registration is needed. And we won’t ask for personal information, you do not have to prove financial or other needs. Any high school junior and/or senior is welcome to select whatever their needs and dreams might be to complete their prom outfit.

Selecting a Dress/Suit/Tuxedo – A volunteer personal shopper will offer to assist you. You can try on as many dresses/suits/tuxedos as you like, but we ask that you take three at a time so that the line keeps moving and the dresses/suits/tuxedos don’t get disorganized.

Selecting Accessories – Make sure you select any accessories you might need to complete your prom outfits such as shoes, a shirt, tie, jewelry, or a purse.

Pampering – After you have selected your outfit and accessories get pampered. Get a fresh haircut or a touchup on your do. Get makeup tips.

Checking Out – Once you’ve selected your perfect outfit, you’ll stop by the Check Out table so we can check you out. You might also be asked for your email so we can send you information on upcoming GIRLS Group events.
